Job Overview

Cyber Defense Lead

Cyber Value Partners (CVP) is seeking a seasoned Cyber Defense Lead to spearhead the implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity program. This individual will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in executing and supporting the program's objectives, ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a cybersecurity strategy aligned with CVP's goals and objectives
  • Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in executing and supporting the program's objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the cybersecurity team
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on program management
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards, including NIST and FISMA
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP or CISM
  • Experience with cloud security, including AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems
