The Patient Financial Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring effective billing processes to maximize the collection of hospital and physician receivables. The representative is expected to maintain a productivity level that aligns with departmental standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough management reviews of both paid and unpaid accounts to confirm that payments are accurately processed and recorded.
- Monitor and execute all necessary actions to secure payment and resolve outstanding balances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
A minimum of six months of prior clerical experience in healthcare insurance billing is essential.
Licensure/Credentials:
None required.
