Recovery Housing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Advisor to join our team at Empowered For Excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping others achieve long-term recovery and independence. As a Residential Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting residents living in our Recovery Housing program. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating New Resident Orientation, welcoming and introducing new residents to existing residents, and ensuring that residents follow the Resident Handbook. You will also be responsible for monitoring and supporting independent living activities, observing and reporting any unusual behaviors or potential areas of conflict between residents. Additionally, you will provide feedback to management regarding any safety or nuisance issues and maintain inventory of housing supplies.
In this role, you will work closely with the Recovery Housing Director and Coordinators to ensure that residents receive the support they need to achieve their goals. You must possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively interact with residents from diverse backgrounds. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. We require a minimum of 3 years of sobriety and extended experience working with Substance Use Disorder populations. Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of sobriety
- Extended experience working with SUD populations
- CPR certification within 90 days of employment
- Able to attain agency provided QMHS training within 60 days of hire
