Human Resources Administrator

Position Overview:
The HR Operations Specialist will perform a variety of administrative tasks within the Human Resources department. This role is essential in facilitating the recruitment process, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary resource for team members, addressing inquiries while fostering positive relationships and enhancing the team's credibility.
- Support the daily functions of the HR department.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding processes, which includes scheduling and conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment assessments, managing new hire documentation, organizing onboarding events, and leading orientation sessions for new employees.
- Maintain essential employment records and files; input data into the HR Information System (HRIS) regarding hiring, employee changes, and separations.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by aiding in the planning and execution of company and community events.
- Manage purchase orders and requisitions for the HR team in the manufacturing sector.
- Oversee attendance tracking and daily employee call-ins.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by HR leadership and manufacturing supervisors.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an Associate's degree or ongoing studies in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access.
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting with outstanding customer service skills and a high level of professionalism.
- Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires prolonged sitting, standing, manual dexterity, bending, and minimal lifting.
