Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of personnel operations, including employee relations, policy interpretation, training, compliance, and support for hiring and termination processes.
  • Address and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of legal requirements related to employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Facilitate weekly discussions with leadership to proactively manage employee concerns.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of initiatives that promote organizational culture, values, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership on performance management, talent development, and compensation strategies.
  • Manage employee benefits offerings in partnership with brokers and vendors.
  • Work closely with recruitment teams to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of HR experience, particularly in government contracting with a focus on employee relations.
  • Proficient knowledge of various HR disciplines, including compensation, performance management, and employment laws.
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment.
  • Strong grasp of employee engagement strategies and principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and suggest actionable solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems (preferably Paychex Flex).
  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is preferred.
