As a Family Intervention Specialist at Youth Villages, you will play a critical role in providing intensive home-based therapy to families in need. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of at-risk youth and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Carry a small caseload of 4-6 families and provide regular home visits to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Hold family sessions with each family three times a week, scheduled at their convenience, to promote healthy relationships and coping mechanisms.
- Participate in regular supervision meetings to ensure high-quality care and address any challenges or concerns.
- Utilize web-based documentation tools to track progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide on-call availability to families during the week and one weekend per month to ensure 24/7 support.
- Drive up to 60-80 miles to meet with families in their homes, promoting flexibility and adaptability.
- A Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
- One year of full-time experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
- A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands.
- A competitive salary range of $50,000 - $58,000 per year, based on education and clinical licensure.
