Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma Level I

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Operating Room at our Trauma Level I facility in Annandale, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multispecialty environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma nursing and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room flow
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in trauma nursing
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of direct Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
  • Multispecialty trained Operating Room nurse is highly desired
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA)
  • CNOR and Level 1 Trauma experience encouraged but not required

Tower OR is open 24/7, serving as the regions only Level 1 Trauma facility Therefore, hours will vary and will be discussed/agreed upon based on unit needs at the time of your hire.

Nurse must be available to take call and rotate weekends, holidays and off-shifts
