Job Summary:

Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a System Security Administrator to support TGS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This role will perform duties that have a primary focus on the establishment and management of several thousand user accounts for multiple financial systems. The successful candidate will have at least one year in the information security field and will be knowledgeable on the general concepts of information security practices and government regulations applicable to FISMA.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement role-based access controls through user profiles, addressing need-to-know, separation of duties, and least privilege according to established federal policy.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guidance.
Conduct annual user account recertifications.

Requirements:
Top Secret Clearance required.
B.A. or B.S. in a related field and 1 year of Information Assurance or IT Helpdesk experience.
Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means to co-workers, subordinates, customers, and senior leadership.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with FIPS and NIST 800 series documentation.

Working Environment & Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
