EMT Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified candidate to teach EMT courses on a part-time basis.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching EMT courses, evaluating student work, and participating in the assessment of their performance. The instructor will also be expected to participate in various campus and staff development activities.
Responsibilities:- Teach EMT courses to students
- Evaluate student work and provide feedback
- Participate in the assessment of performance and participate in campus and staff development activities
The instructor will work in an indoor, office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. The instructor will also be required to lift and carry objects up to 20 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:- Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff
- Minimum Qualifications for this position as defined in the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges published by the Academic Affairs Division, Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges
