Position Title: Director of Institutional Effectiveness

Salary Range: $71,000 - $80,837.49

Institution: Association for Institutional Research

As a pivotal role within the organization, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness will spearhead initiatives to enhance the institution's performance metrics. This position is crucial for ensuring that all facets of the institutional effectiveness strategy are executed efficiently, while also overseeing the collection and management of essential data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the implementation of the institutional effectiveness framework, ensuring that all necessary data for evaluating institutional performance is systematically gathered and maintained.
  2. Collaborate with senior administrators to address specific data requirements pertinent to their areas.
  3. Facilitate the application of institutional data for strategic planning, goal-setting, and assessment, emphasizing continuous improvement.
  4. Provide expert guidance to senior leadership in crafting the institution's Annual and Strategic Plans.
  5. Compile and present an annual report summarizing the measures of institutional effectiveness.
  6. Oversee all aspects of institutional accreditation processes and related evaluations.
  7. Manage the preparation of significant institutional reports, including those required by federal data systems.
  8. Act as a consultant for the design and execution of studies initiated by faculty and staff.
  9. Supervise and direct the professional and support staff within the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
  10. Advise senior leadership on critical matters related to institutional effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Educational Research, Higher Education, Data Analysis, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in managing data collection, analysis, and evaluation to assess institutional effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Educational Research, Higher Education, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • At least five years of professional experience in data analysis and institutional effectiveness within a higher education context.
