Position Overview:

The Director of Institutional Effectiveness plays a pivotal role in shaping the data-informed decision-making culture within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring that all elements of the institutional effectiveness framework are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic leadership to implement the institutional effectiveness plan, ensuring the availability of essential data for evaluating institutional performance.
  2. Collaborate with senior administrators to address specific data requirements across various departments.
  3. Facilitate the utilization of institutional data for goal-setting, assessment, and strategic planning, emphasizing continuous improvement.
  4. Support senior leadership in crafting the Annual and Strategic Plan for the institution.
  5. Develop and deliver an annual report summarizing the measures of institutional effectiveness.
  6. Oversee all aspects of institutional accreditation processes and site visits.
  7. Manage the preparation of significant reports for the institution, including compliance with federal data reporting requirements.
  8. Act as a consultant for the design and execution of studies initiated by faculty and staff.
  9. Supervise and guide professional and support staff within the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
  10. Advise the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer on critical matters related to institutional effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Master’s Degree in Educational Research, Higher Education, Data Analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least five years of professional experience in managing data collection, analysis, and evaluation using comprehensive systems to assess institutional effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Educational Research, Higher Education, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Five years of professional experience within a higher education institution focusing on data analysis and institutional effectiveness.
