Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Portfolio Management: Oversee customer portfolios, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Business Development: Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to grow the account organically.
  • Customer Service: Provide support to customers, suggesting technical solutions according to customer needs, handle customer inquiries, and process new customer RFQs and orders.
  • Order Management: Ensure complete and accurate processing and expediting of job orders, complete quotes, and post-order activities.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve product/service challenges by clarifying customer concern, identifying root cause, providing solution, expediting corrective action, and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile and maintain accurate actionable sales reporting, on customer account statuses, and achieve department metrics.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Background: Strong customer service background, with exposure to manufacturing (technical/mechanical knowledge) preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail/accuracy, project management with sound judgment and good decision-making abilities.
  • Experience: 3+ Years in customer service (B2B) or inside sales experience, metal and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Epicor ERP system, preferred, and Microsoft Office Applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
