Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet clients, therapists, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Schedule appointments in person or by telephone, ensuring optimal client satisfaction and provider time utilization.
  • Manage client appointments, notify providers of client arrival, and review service delivery compared to schedule.
  • Comfort clients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
  • Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, and controlling credit extended to patients.
  • Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
  • Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes, and contributing to team effort.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of previous medical/therapy front office reception experience
  • Previous use of Central Reach, helpful but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to therapy software
  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Mandated Child Abuse/Neglect Reporter
  • First Aid/CPR training

  • Multi-tasking, flexibility, polite and friendly telephone skills, exceptional customer service, time management, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, scheduling, word processing, professionalism, quality focus, and ability to handle various pressures.
