Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Project Manager to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects focused on integrating Ancillary Third-Party Applications within the Epic system.

With a strong background in Epic implementations and a proven track record of managing complex projects, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, clinical staff, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of third-party applications.

You will be responsible for defining areas such as resource allocations, influencing sponsors, and managing work prioritization. Additionally, you will play an active role in making decisions involving human resources, technical, and financial resources necessary to implement change for high-impact environments.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will design processes and structures to support CommonSpirit Health-wide change. You will work autonomously and have minimal interaction with HR/Project Leader with regards to program management methodology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Defining resource allocations, influencing sponsors, and managing work prioritization
  • Making decisions involving human resources, technical, and financial resources
  • Designing processes and structures to support CommonSpirit Health-wide change

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on Epic implementations
  • Extensive experience with integrating Pharmacy Third-Party Applications within EPIC or other EMR systems
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
