Position Summary
The Project Controls Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the assigned Project Manager with the planning, cost management, project direction, successful completion, client satisfaction, and financial performance of designated projects.

- Monthly Forecasting and Financial Analysis
- Cost Management (Budgeting, Commitments & Actuals)
- Job Cost Analysis – Variance Assessment
- Earned Value Management and Reporting
- Project Schedule Management and Evaluation
- Weekly Project Coordination Meetings
- Documentation of Meeting Minutes
- Preparation of Monthly Project Status Reports (PSR)
- Analysis and Management of Job Cost Reports
- Verification of Subcontractor Payment Applications
- Processing of Subcontractor Back-charges
- Contract Management
- Review of Warranty & Procurement Processes
- Risk Register Cost Evaluation
- Change Management (PCO/PCCO)
- Preparation and Negotiation of Prime Contract Payment Applications (as required)
- Formal Documentation of Notices to Owners and Subcontractors
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering/construction sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Highly organized with a structured approach
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore Project Management systems
- Experience with Project Scheduling using Primavera P6 (preferred)
- Document Control Experience
- Willingness to travel and/or relocate
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates with the following skills and experiences may receive additional consideration:
- Experience managing projects exceeding $50 million
- Familiarity with Sage 300CRE and Procore
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish preferred)
