Configuration Management Lead

Rise above the challenges of complex product development with Supernal's innovative approach to Advanced Air Mobility.

We're seeking a seasoned Configuration Management Lead to join our dynamic team and drive the success of our electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Configuration Management activities across engineering functional groups
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures
  • Manage product data produced by the Supernal team and suppliers
  • Collaborate with various engineering subject areas to design high-reliability systems
  • Coordinate the Configuration Management team's workflow
  • Develop a comprehensive Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
  • Facilitate change and configuration management boards
  • Analyze product baselines for compliance with regulatory and industry standards
  • Perform periodic internal audits to ensure compliance
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum ten years of experience in Configuration Management of complex multi-domain product data
  • Minimum five years of proven direct product configuration management experience
  • Experience with CAD, requirements management, and software code management
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or data management toolsets
  • Operational experience managing company releases, agency records, and controlled data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up
