Configuration Management Lead

Rise above the challenges of complex product development with Supernal's innovative approach to Configuration Management. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of engineering functional groups and the development of standardized processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all engineering Configuration Management activities, ensuring proper collaboration across functional groups.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Configuration Management Plan (CMP) aligned with industry guidelines and standard processes.
  • Manage the configuration of all product data produced by the Supernal team and suppliers during development and manufacture.
  • Coordinate the Configuration Management team's workflow and facilitate change and configuration management boards.
  • Analyze product baselines for compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Perform periodic internal audits to ensure compliance and update processes and documentation.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and guide their career progression.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in Configuration Management of complex multi-domain product data.
  • Minimum five years of proven direct product configuration management experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (aerospace, medical devices, nuclear, etc.).
  • Experience with CAD, requirements management, and software code management.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or data management toolsets for configuration management of complex products.
  • Operational experience managing company releases, agency records, and controlled data.
