Configuration Management Lead

Rise above the challenges of complex product development with Supernal's innovative approach to Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). As a Configuration Management Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our eVTOL aircraft and ground-to-air ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all engineering Configuration Management activities, collaborating with various functional groups to design high-reliability, safety-critical systems.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for Configuration Management, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the configuration of all product data produced by the Supernal team and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the development and manufacture of the aircraft.
- Coordinate the Configuration Management team's workflow, facilitating change and configuration management boards, and performing periodic internal audits to ensure compliance.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, promoting career growth and development within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum ten years of experience in Configuration Management of complex multi-domain product data, with a minimum of five years of direct product configuration management experience.
- Proven experience working in a highly regulated environment, such as aerospace, medical devices, or nuclear industries.
- Proficiency in CAD, requirements management, and software code management tools, as well as experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and data management toolsets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
