Position Overview:
Blue Point Healthcare Center is actively seeking dedicated RN Nursing Supervisors to oversee nursing operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Role Purpose:
The RN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for delegating, supervising, and providing personalized nursing care to residents while leading the nursing staff to uphold care standards and enhance the quality of resident care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure adequate nursing staffing levels to maintain quality resident care.
2. Facilitate the orientation and ongoing training of new nursing staff.
3. Develop and communicate shift assignments while monitoring staff performance to ensure compliance with nursing standards.
4. Assist in scheduling and collaborate with ancillary departments during shift changes regarding resident conditions and needs.
5. Ensure adherence to established departmental policies and procedures by all nursing staff.
6. Keep the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers informed of any concerns or needs from staff, residents, or families, and assist in resolving issues.
7. Review reports from previous shifts and ensure appropriate follow-up on resident care matters.
8. Participate in performance evaluations of nursing staff.
9. Maintain accurate census reports in accordance with EHR policies.
10. Investigate resident and family complaints and incidents as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of employment.
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution and completion of an approved RN program.
- Previous experience in long-term care settings.
- Prior supervisory or management experience is essential.
