Virtual Immigration Paralegal Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Immigration Paralegal to join our team at Equivity. As a Virtual Immigration Paralegal, you will provide exceptional support to our clients across the US, handling various aspects of business immigration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit applications and supporting documentation to the USCIS
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including affidavits, declarations, and memoranda
  • Utilize immigration software, such as DocketWise, to manage cases and meet deadlines
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and hearings, and managing calendars and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of recent experience working as an immigration paralegal, preferably handling humanitarian and family-based matters
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
  • Bilingual in Spanish
