Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at DeTar Healthcare System. As a RN-TICU, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluates assigned patients and develops individualized care plans

Assists physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation

Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse

Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills

Requirements:

TX RN license (or Compact)

Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred

BLS certification, ACLS preferred
