Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist PRN at St. David's Surgical Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic, and portable radiographs, to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Select and operate radiography equipment, imaging, and/or associated accessories to successfully perform procedures.
  • Document information seen during exams, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Follow hospital guidelines regarding radiation protection and apply principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patients, self, and others.
  • Operate computer systems, including Meditech, RAD module, OE, PCI, PACS, etc., to support department operations.
  • Participate in call rotation as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology or a military training program of equivalent standards.
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
