We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound MFM Technologist to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing complex ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess patient anatomy and physiology to determine the best course of action for ultrasound procedures.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and spectral waveforms.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
- Document patient data and examination results in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
- Associate Degree or higher in a related field, such as diagnostic medical sonography.
- Graduate of an educational program in diagnostic medical sonography or minimum one year obstetrics (OB) experience.
- Preferred: One year of previous experience as an MFM Sonographer.
- Credentials with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Current certification with the ARDMS registered in OB within one year of hire.
- RDMS in Fetal Echocardiography (FE) must be obtained within two years of hire.
- Fetal Nuchal Translucency must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Nasal Bone Certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
