Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Engineer to join our team at Midwest Mole, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective communication with customers, crews, and office personnel to facilitate project success.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, including job site layouts, survey functions, and utility locates.
  • Prepare and submit organized project documentation to superintendents, foremen, and project managers.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including tracking expenses and preparing T&M billings and claims.
  • Utilize Foundation Accounting Software to manage job costs, payroll, and T&M billing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure project progress and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documents, equipment, and materials on the job site.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Work Environment

This position requires approximately 50% of the time to be spent working from the local office and 50% of the time traveling to job sites.

Some lifting up to 20lbs. may be required.
