Position: Warehouse Forklift Specialist
Company: KYYBA

Work Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM and 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (subject to branch needs)

Essential Qualifications:
* Strong ability to learn, retain, implement, and follow through on tasks
* Valid Driver's License
* Capability to uphold Forklift certification

Experience Required: Minimum 1-2 years in a warehouse setting

Educational Background: High School diploma or equivalent


Position Description:
With limited supervision, adhere to established protocols and guidelines to receive, manage, store, execute system transactions, and dispatch items within a warehouse environment. Responsible for receiving incoming shipments; inspecting for damages and discrepancies between items and invoices. Accurately categorize, label, and store items while optimizing warehouse space. Prepare, package, and send outgoing shipments based on written or verbal requests.

Core Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
- Cease operations and promptly report any significant injury hazards.
- Report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Foster a culture of safety by looking out for colleagues.
- Address hazards within your control and capabilities.
- Acknowledge how your work may affect the environment and strive to minimize negative impacts.
- Participate in HSE training.

Quality Assurance:
- Comply with all relevant standard operating procedures and established quality protocols.
- Identify and report issues to mitigate cost and quality risks.
- Conduct quality inspections for damages and discrepancies between items and invoices.
- Recognize and manage non-conforming materials.

Logistics Management:
- Receive incoming items, accurately categorize, label/package, and store goods while optimizing warehouse space.
- Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship products according to customer expectations.
- Exhibit a high level of proficiency in core operational skills.
- Meet required cycle times or defined engineering standards.

Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
- Complete training in accordance with business requirements.
- Actively engage in initiatives to enhance quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including routine housekeeping and equipment maintenance tasks.
- Remain adaptable and perform other miscellaneous duties as needed to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and maintain equipment requiring repair.
