We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment program, you will play a crucial role in assisting with crisis prevention, intervention, and debriefing with clients. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support and de-escalation to clients experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties during the daily routine.

Job Description:
  • Provide individualized support and crisis intervention to clients who require assistance with emotional and behavioral regulation.
  • Lead the implementation of trauma-informed interventions, coaching and directing residential staff throughout the shift and during crises.
  • Conduct crisis evaluations and incident debriefing with clients, if necessary.
  • Assist with supervised visitation on campus, when needed.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field is required, while a master's degree is preferred. Certification in CPR, First Aid, Safe Crisis Management, and Defensive Driver's training is also required.
