Job Summary:

The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in the field of speech language pathology and provide diagnostic, therapeutic, treatment services, and evaluations for individuals with multiple disabilities. The ideal candidate will also possess good organizational and record-keeping skills and experience working with high school students with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and treatment services to students with speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support
Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech language pathology and implement evidence-based interventions

Requirements:

New Jersey Educational Services certificate with Speech Language Specialist endorsement or eligibility for New Jersey certification
New Jersey License or ASHA certification preferred
Comprehensive knowledge in the field of speech language pathology
Ability to work with students with multiple disabilities
Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Experience working with high school students with disabilities preferred
