About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Backroom Lead at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
  • Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • Provide accurate and effective communication with management and Associates
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Team player with ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors
