About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Backroom Coordinator at HomeSense. As a key member of our store operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
  • Communicate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
  • Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary.
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area.
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to train others.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $14.00 to $14.50, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
