Branch Float Teller

Public Service Credit Union is in search of a motivated, approachable, and professional individual to fulfill the role of a Float Teller within our regional branch services.
As a Float Teller, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to our members by managing routine banking tasks. This includes processing payments, accepting deposits, and facilitating withdrawals. You will also address member inquiries and foster positive relationships by recommending suitable banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently handle transactions for members, including accepting deposits and withdrawals while verifying cash and endorsements on checks.
- Educate members about products and services to assist them in achieving their financial objectives.
- Address routine member service requests with professionalism.
- Maintain a customer-focused, positive attitude at all times.
- Prioritize fraud prevention, security, and accuracy in all transactions.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
- Demonstrated capability to perform job duties independently.
- Basic proficiency in computer and mathematical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a financial institution.
- Prior cash handling experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Sales experience is a plus.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work on some Saturdays.
- Flexibility to float to various branch locations as required.
