Position Summary

As a Technical Training Consultant, you will collaborate with technical professionals from various divisions to exchange innovative ideas, methodologies, and strategies for crafting and delivering training materials on a diverse range of SAS software. You will utilize cutting-edge software, tools, and resources to instruct our clients on addressing their business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance expertise in programming, report generation, analytical methods, SAS technologies, and associated open-source and third-party software.
  • Provide training to clients and partners, which may be conducted in-person or virtually.
  • Create educational resources for e-learning, classroom instruction, and mentoring sessions.
  • Record technical content and software demonstrations for internal or external platforms.
  • Collaborate with specialists across various SAS divisions to design and deliver tailored training based on our clients' business needs and specific technological requirements.
  • Offer direct support to clients utilizing enterprise-class analytical software applications and solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Familiarity with a programming language such as SAS, Python, R, etc.
  • Understanding of computer science principles, ideally in technology areas like cloud services, application development, database management, data visualization, or web applications.
  • Willingness to travel for training delivery at SAS offices and client locations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities to engage with users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Experience in public speaking, such as presenting research or teaching.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • You are curious, passionate, genuine, and accountable—values that guide our operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience through projects or internships showcasing both individual and teamwork capabilities.
  • Proficiency in programming with the SAS language.
