Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fiscal Technician to join our team. As a Fiscal Technician, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our organization, including budget monitoring, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
  • Assist with budget development and forecasting
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
