Job Title: PC Support Manager

Transform technology into opportunity as a PC Support Manager with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement PC policies, procedures, and standards to ensure conformance with information systems goals and procedures.
  • Study and project PC resource requirements, including personnel, software, equipment, and facilities, and make recommendations to management.
  • Maintain currency in new developments and technology to ensure the effective use of internal data processing, automated office systems, and data communications.
  • Provide leadership in the effective use of internal data processing, automated office systems, and data communications, and may also manage LAN services.
  • Conduct hardware maintenance and minor installations on equipment listed in the specified task order, and understand the inter-operational relationships of all components to the extent required to perform maintenance services.
  • Operate and apply automated hardware management and diagnostics systems, and interpret findings to maintain, repair, or upgrade hardware.
  • Plan, execute, and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance as approved by government personnel.
  • Provide recommendations on spares, spares program, planning, and tracking operational spares and bench stock.
  • Provide technical assistance to responding field service personnel.
  • Assist in repairing computers, printers, digital senders, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Perform STIGs & IAVA implementation for system devices, perform imaging of systems, CERP replacement, etc.
  • Ability to interact with customers on a daily basis providing guidance and procedures concerning account requests, e-mail, home directories, file access/storage, local procedures, etc.
  • Perform Level I/II Active Directory functions such as unlocking accounts, creating and issuing accounts, etc.
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Required Certification(s): DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
  • Required Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Linux+, VCP5, Azure Administrator Fundamentals, etc.
