Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the declassification process of sensitive documents related to litigation cases
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of records
  • Conduct desktop research and analyze results to determine the relevance of new searches or previously declassified records
  • Provide recommendations regarding the release of documents for Sponsor approval
  • Record decisions in the Sponsor's automated systems
  • Determine if a record contains Other Government Agency (OGA) equities and requires external referral or non-routine handling
  • Manage the referral process and organize documents for declassification review
Requirements
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Substantive knowledge of general worldwide events
  • Knowledge of Foreign Relations, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs and Executive Order (EO) 13526
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in online tools such as Word, Excel, and Access and customer's electronic databases
  • Must have an understanding of security requirements and be able to adhere to them
  • Knowledge of the intelligence community and other government agencies
  • Must have 6 years + experience
Clearance Requirement

TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution plus at least 3 years professional experience specific to the skills can be substituted

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
