Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Routine Nursing Care: Administer basic nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with daily living activities.
- Assist with Resident Rounds: Participate in regular resident rounds to assess and address the needs of our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Verify Resident Identification: Verify the identity of residents before administering care or serving food to ensure accurate and personalized care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with our healthcare team, including Charge Nurses, RN Supervisors, and Directors of Nurses, to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Education and Experience: Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant, with a minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class.
- Skills and Abilities: Possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people.
