Caregiver/Support Specialist - Koinonia Homes

About the Role:
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). You will work a three-day schedule, providing essential support and care.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals in developing everyday life skills, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Facilitate community engagement through outings, shopping trips, and dining experiences
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans
  • Provide personal care and support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license in Ohio (four points or less)
  • Reliable transportation and car insurance
  • Successful completion of criminal background checks
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Licenses & Certifications: Required certifications include CPR/First Aid and Medication Certification
