We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Ramp Lead to join our team at Swissport International AG. As a Cargo Ramp Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional ground support services to our customers, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo and baggage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload baggage and cargo, including bulk and containerized items, onto carts and dollies.
  • Aircraft Marshalling: Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
  • Special Handling: Provide special handling of luggage and cargo as required, including delivery to designated locations.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate ground support equipment, including tow tractors, belt loaders, and baggage tugs.
  • Debris Removal: Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gates and aircraft for debris and remove/dispose of as necessary.
  • Reporting: Report equipment malfunctions and any safety concerns to supervisors or managers.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous ramp experience is highly desirable.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, with additional language skills an advantage.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms) and work in inclement weather.
