Citadel Outlets stands as the leading outlet shopping destination in Los Angeles, featuring over 130 renowned global brands and dining options. This expansive 700,000 sq. ft. center is strategically located near major attractions, providing a diverse shopping experience with brands such as Coach, Michael Kors, and Nike.

Compensation: $18.50 Per Hour, based on experience.

We are currently seeking FULL-TIME Security Specialists who are proactive in ensuring a secure and enjoyable shopping environment for both employees and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safeguard the premises both on foot and via vehicle, maintaining a visible and vigilant presence at all times.
  • Manage the security communication device and respond professionally to all service requests within the center.
  • Promote the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of shoppers by consistently demonstrating a professional and helpful demeanor.
  • Monitor critical areas of the property diligently.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all security operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Document security activities accurately using the appropriate corporate and center security forms.
  • Assist the Security Supervisor and Security Director in executing the center's security work plan, including assigned tasks and projects.
  • Adhere to OSHA health and safety standards in all duties performed.
  • Support the training of new security personnel as directed by the Security Supervisor and Security Director.
  • Comply with all corporate and security policies relevant to the center.
  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with store managers and employees to enhance the security and safety of all personnel and the public.
  • Engage in special projects or additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in security or a related field preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Guard Card (as per state regulations)
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certifications
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • Ability to effectively address issues both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong commitment to customer service is essential.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the security field.
  • A degree of creativity and flexibility is expected.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively address unusual situations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and openness to new ideas and procedures are required.
