Job Overview:
The role of the Healthcare Customer Liaison (HCL) is to fulfill or surpass the expectations of our clients by evaluating their needs, prioritizing requests, and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments. Clients may include patients, healthcare providers, and family members. The HCL will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide insights regarding the services offered by Patient Services.
Position Title: Healthcare Customer Liaison
Industry: Specialty Pharmacy Care
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with performance bonuses available
Shift Availability:
- Monday to Friday, various shifts available
Training Schedule: Comprehensive training provided
Employment Type: Temporary to permanent, contingent on performance and attendance
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare and insurance sectors
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for patients by thoroughly assessing the nature of their inquiries, prioritizing their needs, and directing calls as necessary.
- Stay informed about Patient Services initiatives and communicate relevant information to clients as appropriate.
- Assist in enrolling new clients into Patient Services.
- Document interactions in the patient database and follow up to ensure services are delivered, coordinating with healthcare providers and pharmacies as needed.
- Background in pharmacy or call center experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer applications and database management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with database systems (CRM experience preferred).
- Experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by patients with medical conditions.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume call environment.
