POSITION OVERVIEW
Four Sisters Inns is seeking a skilled facilities technician to oversee maintenance operations across two exquisite properties. This role is vital for ensuring the hotels remain in optimal condition, requiring a diverse skill set in various trades such as electrical work, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and machinery maintenance. The ideal candidate will assist management with physical tasks, including lifting and relocating furniture.

WORK SCHEDULE
  • 4 to 5 days a week, 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Shifts will alternate between locations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical repairs, and painting.
  • Manage equipment repair purchases while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Inspect machinery and equipment for functionality and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of mechanical components.
  • Construct and repair wooden structures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Organize workspaces and storage areas efficiently.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules for guest rooms and common areas.
  • Communicate with management regarding complex maintenance issues.
  • Document daily work activities and submit reports as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle practical challenges.
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The role involves working in various conditions, including exposure to mechanical parts and outdoor environments. Safety protocols must be followed diligently to mitigate risks.
