Role of Clinical Support Specialist
This role is essential in assisting our clinical staff by managing specialty medication injections as prescribed by our healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient insurance benefits
- Securing prior authorizations from insurance companies
- Coordinating medication requisitions
- Communicating with patients regarding their treatment
- Scheduling appointments for injections
Experience in prior authorizations is preferred, and a clinical background is advantageous. This is a part-time position requiring availability for three days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM.
