Ortho NorthEast is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Advanced Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our orthopedic trauma team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients' needs and deliver excellent healthcare services.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory data and radiographic imaging, diagnose patients, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications as necessary and make appropriate consultations.
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients.
- Graduation from a Physician Assistant program accredited by the CAHEA or a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by a Nursing School.
- Knowledge of medical OSHA safety precautions and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide guidance to other staff members.

5-7 days per week, rotating weekend shifts with other hospital-based APs. Statutory holidays will be worked with other APs per holiday call rotation.
