Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient Software Engineer who will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions utilizing Azure, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, and Data Pipelines with PySpark. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cloud technologies and data processing, coupled with the ability to create scalable and resilient software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather and analyze software requirements.
  • Design and implement software solutions leveraging Azure services, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, and PySpark.
  • Develop and sustain data pipelines using PySpark, ensuring high standards of data quality and reliability.
  • Enhance software performance while ensuring the scalability and robustness of developed solutions.
  • Work alongside data scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy and operationalize machine learning models.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and operational challenges.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and tools in software engineering through continuous research.
  • Engage in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of software development processes and best practices within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, Databricks, and Azure Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in developing and deploying microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding and experience with data pipelines utilizing PySpark.
  • Practical experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, with familiarity in additional languages like Java or Scala.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies, including Hadoop and Apache Spark.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for this position ranges from 80,000.00 to 120,000.00 USD per year, inclusive of bonuses where applicable. This range is an estimate and not guaranteed, as offers will be based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and market data alignment.
