Key Responsibilities

As an Azure Administrator/Engineer, you will:
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive system of interest, overseeing its entire life cycle from requirements gathering to operational management and eventual retirement, ensuring domain expert involvement and effective risk management.
  • Utilize advanced consulting skills and extensive technical knowledge to devise innovative solutions for complex challenges, working independently while mentoring and guiding team members.
Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Education: 8 years with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 3 years with a PhD. Alternatively, a high school diploma with 12 years of relevant or military experience is acceptable.
  • In-depth experience with cloud infrastructure, covering compute, networking, storage, and backup principles in environments such as Azure, AWS, Oracle, Google, or VMware Cloud, including administrator or architect-level certifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years in systems architecture within a distributed enterprise setting.
  • 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and migrations, particularly within an Azure context.
  • 5 years of expertise in virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in architecting and deploying Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in deploying IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS solutions, with over 5 years of PowerShell scripting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in large enterprise operations, focusing on the identification, development, analysis, scheduling, and management of enterprise IT activities, solutions, and risk mitigations.
  • Understanding of Microsoft's Azure Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
  • Clearance: DOD Secret Clearance.
  • DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP) along with Operating Environment (OE) certification for Microsoft Platforms/Solutions.
Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts and practices on technical assignments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services, or equivalent depth in a single solution platform.
  • Experience collaborating with other enterprise technologists to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to support and coordinate across senior-level organizations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • CASP+ or CISSP Certification.
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications.
