Tax Leadership Director

As a Tax Leadership Director at Moss Adams LLP, you will play a key role in empowering our clients to achieve their business objectives. You will lead our Tax Services team in delivering high-quality tax solutions to middle-market companies, not-for-profit organizations, and high net worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing Clients: Serve as the primary engagement manager with economic responsibilities for billing, realization, and collections.
- Technical Expertise: Effectively leverage technology and resources to maximize technical application to projects.
- Tax Planning: Determine tax objectives, scope, and methodology, and participate in decision-making with clients.
- Team Development: Evaluate skills and develop team members in client engagement management and technical expertise.
- Business Development: Develop and execute a business development plan, including networking, new client development, and client expansion activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
- Professional Certifications: CPA or Bar License required.
- Industry Experience: Health Care industry experience preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 13 years of tax experience gained within a public accounting firm or related experience.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Subject matter expert in corporate, partnership, individual, or trust and estate taxation.
- Leadership Skills: Proven market-facing skills to develop new business and sustain existing client relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational techniques and presentation skills.
