Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Roadway and Bridge Construction Inspector/Supervisor to oversee construction projects in Central Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, testing materials, and documenting work performed and materials used.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on roads, bridges, and other transportation projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Test materials for quality assurance and document results.
- Calculate quantities of work performed and materials used.
- Supervise and train inspection personnel associated with project construction.
- Make on-site technical decisions to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand technical documents.
- Ability to work well in public and/or team environments.
- Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical fieldwork.
- Ability to travel to various construction sites in Central Pennsylvania.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the highway and/or bridge construction industry.
- PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike highway and bridge construction inspection experience.
- Certifications in ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, NECEPT Bituminous Field Technician, NECEPT Concrete Field Technician, and NICET in Highway Construction Inspection.
