Job Summary:

The EADS Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Roadway and Bridge Construction Inspector/Supervisor to oversee construction projects in Central Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, testing materials, and documenting work performed and materials used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections on roads, bridges, and other transportation projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Test materials for quality assurance and document results.
  • Calculate quantities of work performed and materials used.
  • Supervise and train inspection personnel associated with project construction.
  • Make on-site technical decisions to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Ability to work well in public and/or team environments.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical fieldwork.
  • Ability to travel to various construction sites in Central Pennsylvania.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the highway and/or bridge construction industry.
  • PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike highway and bridge construction inspection experience.
  • Certifications in ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, NECEPT Bituminous Field Technician, NECEPT Concrete Field Technician, and NICET in Highway Construction Inspection.
