We are seeking a dedicated Facilities and Office Services Coordinator to join our team at The Millennium Group. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and securely screen all incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate counting and verification.
- Maintain a detailed log of all incoming items, including letters and packages from various carriers.
- Efficiently distribute packages and mail throughout the office.
- Utilize a P.D.A system for the delivery of packages, ensuring proper scanning and signing procedures are followed.
- Collect outgoing packages for shipment via various carriers, ensuring timely processing through our postage machine.
- Engage in fast-paced sorting and staging of packages for delivery.
- Assist the Facilities team with various tasks, including setting up and breaking down conference rooms and maintaining equipment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including light repairs and plumbing, while ensuring safety inspections are conducted regularly.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, being available for any urgent facility-related issues outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in customer service.
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
- Experience at the "S&R Associate I" level for 1-3 years.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong individual and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in keyboarding and Windows-based applications, with experience in Google applications.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail.
