Job Overview

AECOM is seeking a Strategic Corporate Communications Advisor to join its Global Communications team.

This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's corporate communications strategy, focusing on financial communications, executive messaging, and other essential internal and external communication efforts.


The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both internal and external stakeholder dynamics, with proven experience in providing strategic communications guidance. This includes the ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, engaging messaging, and to contribute to impactful communication campaigns.


We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills and the capability to work collaboratively with various internal teams, including communications, marketing, finance, legal, HR, and other operational departments.

Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate a passion for continuous learning, a strategic mindset that aligns with business objectives, and the ability to build trust with colleagues and leadership.


The successful applicant will be a dependable and motivated team player, eager to be part of an organization that undertakes some of the most significant and transformative infrastructure projects globally.


This role offers flexibility for hybrid work arrangements, combining both in-office and remote work options.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Assisting in the creation of innovative, strategic internal and external communication plans and initiatives, including leader communications and business line meetings.

2. Crafting communication materials such as presentations, speeches, video scripts, social media content, organizational announcements, and talking points for panels.


3. Collaborating closely with the Public Relations team to develop media outreach strategies that enhance AECOM's visibility in industry and business sectors.


4. Keeping abreast of relevant industry, economic, and governmental trends that should be reflected in communications.

5. Ensuring that all communications are in alignment with AECOM's strategic goals and business performance metrics.


6. Identifying opportunities to leverage existing materials and expertise by contributing to related communication campaigns or initiatives.


7. Evaluating and analyzing the effectiveness of communication campaign activities.
