Direct Care Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Direct Care Supervisor to join our team at MASS. As a key member of our residential care program, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with mental health needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Develop and implement person-centered care plans, incorporating individualized goals, objectives, and interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and behavioral management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience working in a direct care role, preferably in a mental health setting.
- One year of supervisory experience is required, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving desired outcomes.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, nursing) may be substituted for up to one year of experience.
