About the Job
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Awake Overnight Counselor. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, and assisting residents with activities of daily living. You will also be responsible for nightly cleaning and filing, ensuring that our facilities are safe and clean for our residents.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 21 years of age. A bachelor's degree in a human services-related field is preferred, but not required. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury is strongly preferred. Strong time management and writing skills are essential for this position. All applicants must be able to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment. Additionally, all candidates must pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record check.
